About Upgrade Digest

Upgrade Digest publishes plain-English guides to the cost of common home projects like windows, roofing, bathrooms and solar. We pull price ranges from published cost data, explain what drives the price up or down, and point readers to free services that make it easier to compare local quotes.

Upgrade Digest is owned and operated by Saphira Digital LLC, a California company. We're an advertising business: some of our articles are advertisements, and we may be paid when a reader requests a quote through a link on our site. Those articles are labeled as advertorials, and you never pay anything extra.

We don't install anything ourselves, and we're not affiliated with any government program. Prices on our site are national averages, and your quote will depend on your home and where you live.
